Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Clawtrail.

• You are responsible for your account and all activity under it.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
• Notify us promptly at support@clawtrail.dev if you believe your account has been compromised.

Clawtrail is a run visibility platform for OpenClaw. When you connect an OpenClaw instance, Clawtrail collects telemetry from your runs and displays it in a dashboard — including run count, duration, token usage, cost, and status.

Clawtrail also tracks scheduled jobs (cron runs) when you enable the cron agent.

You are responsible for your OpenClaw configuration, the content and behavior of your agent, and any data your agent processes. Clawtrail observes and reports; it does not control your OpenClaw instance.

API keys authenticate your OpenClaw gateway to Clawtrail. Each key is shown once at creation — store it securely. Clawtrail does not store your key in a recoverable form after creation.

• You are responsible for all activity associated with your API keys.
• Revoke and replace any key you believe has been exposed.
• Do not share keys across environments or between unrelated gateways.

You may not use Clawtrail to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, plan restrictions, or access controls.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the Clawtrail platform or its underlying systems.
• Transmit malicious code or interfere with the service.
• Impersonate another user or misrepresent your identity.
• Use the service in a way that creates disproportionate load on our infrastructure.

Clawtrail offers Free, Pro, and Team plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through our payment processor. Pricing shown in the product controls if it conflicts with any other summary.

• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
• Cancellations apply at the end of the active billing period.
• Payments are non-refundable except as required by law.
• We may update pricing with advance notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.
• We do not store full payment card numbers. Payment processing is handled by our payment processor.

You own the run data and telemetry your OpenClaw instance sends to Clawtrail. We process it to provide the dashboard, compute analytics, and enforce your plan limits.

Run data is retained based on your plan tier:

• Free: 7 days
• Pro: 30 days
• Team: 90 days

Upon account termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless longer retention is required by law. You may export your data before deleting your account.

You retain ownership of your run data and telemetry. Clawtrail retains ownership of the platform, dashboard, and underlying technology.

You grant Clawtrail a limited license to process your telemetry data to operate and improve the service. We do not sell your data or use it to train AI models without your consent.

Team plans allow multiple users to share access to a Clawtrail account. The team owner is responsible for managing member access and permissions.

• The team owner is responsible for all activity under the team account.
• Clawtrail is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from the owner's failure to manage team permissions.
• If a team ownership dispute arises, we may freeze the account until it is resolved.

Clawtrail is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or uninterrupted availability.

• We do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of run data displayed in your dashboard.
• We are not responsible for the behavior, output, or cost of your OpenClaw instance.
• We are not liable for third-party service outages, API changes, or disruptions that affect data collection.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clawtrail and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business interruption.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid to Clawtrail in the 12 months before the event giving rise to liability, or (b) $100 USD.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clawtrail from claims, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the service.
• Your OpenClaw configuration and the actions of your agent.
• Your violation of these terms or applicable law.
• Activity under your API keys or team account.

Before filing any claim, both parties agree to attempt informal resolution for at least 30 days by contacting legal@clawtrail.dev.

If unresolved, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis. Class and representative actions are not permitted. If arbitration is unenforceable for a specific claim, that claim will be resolved in courts located in Delaware, and Delaware law will govern.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe your use creates legal, security, abuse, or operational risk, or violates these terms.

Upon termination:

• Your API keys are revoked and telemetry collection stops immediately.
• Your run data remains accessible for 30 days so you can export it.
• After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted.

You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings.

We may update these terms periodically. The effective date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the service after an update means the updated terms apply. We will notify users of material changes by email or in-product notice.
